Green smoothie
1 slice wheat toast
Dennis was so good to make us a green smoothie every morning.
Lunch:
Lettuce salad
2 Turkey sandwiches on wheat rolls
Apple slices
Dessert: granola and berries in yogurt
We had a luncheon after baby A's baby blessing. There was a lot of food, most of which I did not eat (macaroni salad, potato chips, Cheetos, soda, Score cake (some call it "Better than sex cake"), and cookies. I had a great conversation about diet and health with several people: Monica (Malinda's friend), Gabriel, and Laura (Brian's mom). It was a wonderful day.
Snack:
Mixed nuts
Ultimate crunch
Energy squares (Costco)
Dinner:
Burger King grilled chicken sandwich
Few french fries
We flew out this afternoon and planned on eating at the Phoenix airport. We were supposed to have an hour layover there, but got there with just as they were ready to board the plane to Salt Lake City, the only food places there were a Pizza Hut and Burger King. We had already had pizza twice this week so hamburger food it was. I had not been able to be prepared for this as we left Malinda's house in a rush to get to the church for the baby blessing and went straight to Gabriel and Brittany's afterward for the luncheon. There was no food left over to take (and if there had been, there was no dishes to carry it in). We barely got our food in time to board and I had my first white bread in months.
I did not have enough water to drink today. The water in Austin is nasty, even the bottled water. I tolerated it every day, but didn't enjoy it. Today, I just didn't get enough mostly because of the flying. I am so happy to be home and have my own bed and cold Utah water.
