Day 121 - Wednesday, Jan 7

Ran on mini tramp for 30 minutes. 60 crunches, front and each side. 12 push ups (these are still killers). Arm strengthening (Triceps, Biceps, and Shoulders).
Moving 25-30 full buckets of food storage from one room to another (this is in addition to the arm workout).

Breakfast:
Green smoothie
Oatbran muffin

Lunch:
Lettuce salad
Tortilla chips & Mango salsa

Snack:
1/2 orange
Mixed nuts

Dinner:
7 bean & ham soup w/ veggies(so yummy on a cold winter day)
Wheat corn bread
1/2 orange

I also shoveled snow this afternoon. The little bit that it snowed last night that Dennis didn't have time to do before we left for work this morning. It was so warm I had to take off my coat and gloves, and I was still sweating. I LOVE SHOVELING! Good exercise, fresh air and sunshine (very important but harder to get in in the winter time), satisfaction of clean driveways and sidewalks, great service opportunities.

7 bean & ham soup recipe:
Cook red, black and white beans in crock pot. (I make a full crock pot and freeze what I will not use for this meal)
When completely cooked - Dump out bean juice
Add chicken broth
Chopped carrots
Chopped celery
Chopped Onions
Garlic
Chopped Ham
Seasonings (Rosemary, parsley, basil & oregano
Salt & pepper to taste
I also added something that I had in my food storage that is nameless. Looks like lentils (split peas, etc and micro noodles)I got a bucket of these when someone moved and they are not labeled. So thus the name 7 bean soup.
