Ran & walked up and down hills for 32 minutes. It felt good to run outdoors again. It was chillier in Austin than it had been in Phoenix, so I had to borrow one of Malinda's sweatshirts. Half way through it warmed enough and I had to shed the sweatshirt. Twice I slipped on ice and almost fell. Ice in Texas? Well, yes, wherever they watered the grass along the sidewalk and it was still shady, ice had formed. 65 front ab crunches and 40 side crunches (each side). 15 pushups.
Breakfast:
Green smoothie
2 slices wheat toast
Smoothie recipe:
1 1/2 cup apple juice
1 cup frozen berries (Costco triple berries)
1 orange
1 banana
spinach
Lunch:
Subway grilled chicken sandwich
on honey oat bread
Dinner
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Steamed broccoli
Lettuce salad
Malinda cooked a nice pork roast, but I couldn't eat any. I want to have my cholesterol checked next month and I don't want to take any chances. My right foot has been killing me all day. I don't know if I have pulled a muscle or ligament, or possibly have a stress fracture. My foot has swelled a little also. It didn't help that I was on my feet all day shopping. I hope it does not hurt tomorrow so I can run.
