Run/walk 30 minutes. Today for the first time in months I ran outdoors. It was warm in Phoenix this morning so Dennis and I went for a nice morning run. I actually did pretty well. Much better than last fall. I still have to work on my breathing. I had a runners cough all day from the run though, I don't know what it is but the running made my lungs burn and just made me cough all day. 65 crunches, 40 crunches each side. Butt and leg workouts. It was nice to be able to get out and run and stretch, because it feels like all we have done is sit on airplanes for 2 days.
Breakfast (complimentary Continental at the motel)
Oatmeal w/Maple and brown sugar
Few orange slices (brought from home)
Snack: (on airplane) All brought from home
Mixed nuts
Rest of the orange slices
1 energy nugget
Lunch:
Panda Express
Mixed veggies
Mushroom chicken
Orange chicken
Dinner: (at a baby shower for Malinda)
Lettuce salad
Chicken enchiladas
Green grapes
Snack:
Healthy brownie (brought from home)
I really wanted a salad for lunch. I was craving it, but Austin is not layed out like Utah, and being we didn't know our way around, and we were making our way to Malinda's house from the airport, AND what few fast food restaurants we did find were all on the other side of the road, and all the roads are busy roads, we opted to stop at Panda Express, as it was on the right side of the road, and the last eating place before Malinda's apartment. Thankfully they had a nice lettuce salad at the baby shower the Bishop's wife had for Malinda and baby A. It was a lovely evening. We did make a trip before the baby shower to Costco to get salad greens, spinach and frozen fruit for smoothies and some mixed nuts and Mrs. Mays Ultimate Crunch for snacks. Malinda says she has plenty of pears and oranges. I think I am all set for the rest of the week.
