Day 35

I got to sleep in again today. AAWW!!! It felt so good too. Today was a relaxing day. Go to church, visit grandma and an elderly neighbor. Come home to a quiet house and get the TV all to myself (Dennis is still hunting). I watched the BYU channel and listened to some great music while reading the newspaper. Such a nice cold snowy day.

Breakfast:
Blueberries and granola in yogurt

Lunch:
Leftover white bean soup (from earlier this week or last)
1 slice whole wheat toast

Dinner:
Lettuce salad
Chicken soup (from Noodles and Co)
2 slices sunflower, wheat toast

Snack:
handful of red grapes

If anyone is likes granola like I do, I just want to pass on the great deal we got on our favorite: French Vanilla Almond. It usually costs me between 2.79 - 3.29 per pound depending on the day and store. It is on sale until Wed. Oct 15 for 1.99 a lb. at Sunflower Farmers Market. My daughter Amanda and I love it so much we bought a case and shared it.

Have you ever tried soaking almonds. They are so, so, so, good! I love them on my salads. Just take a handful and put in a dish and soak overnight. They are very healthy this way also. I have even put some in my smoothies in the morning.
