This morning we started jogging. Ok, it was less than 1/2 a block on each of our 3 rounds, but hey, it's a start.
I felt so tired this afternoon and evening. I laid down for a short nap about 3:00 and it helped for a few hours, then it hit me again like a ton of bricks. I definitely need to go to bed earlier than 10:00 when I get up at 5:00 am. I do best on 8 or 9 hours sleep.
Breakfast:
Green Smoothie (I added dandelion greens and some other leafy veggie I bought at the grocery store. Don't remember the name, but one of the two were bitter. But the Green Smoothie Girl says to change up the greens as they have different benefits.)
2 slices wheat toast w/ butter (For some reason I was craving this)
Lunch:
Lettuce salad
Corn, bran, blueberry muffin
2 slices honeydew melon (I will miss the melons when they are all gone- which will be soon now)
Snack:
Granola bar
Nectarine
Dinner:
Soup (Great northern white beans, wild rice, carrots, green onions, chicken broth, chicken bouillon) Very tasty, Even Dennis commented on how good it was and he rarely compliments my cooking, usually tells me what was missing and what I could do better next time. Most of the time he is right because I am always experimenting and just throwing things together.
1 slice sunflower wheat bread w/ butter
2 sliced tomatoes
2 Pottawatomie plums
