HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
I walked/ran my first 4 miler. Amanda went with me to the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot at the Orem Fitness Center. Our family have gone every year for as long as I can remember. I was usually the only one that did not run. But of course, someone had to be there to cheer them at the end and take pictures. So this was my first and thanks to Amanda for walking/jogging with me and pushing me along. She taught me a few things that I need to work on to become a better runner.
Walked/ran 3.96 miles in 54.37 minutes. Burned 366 calories.
Pre run Breakfast:
1 orange
1 slice bran bread
Snack at run:
1/2 orange
1 banana
Post Breakfast:
Green smoothie
Lunch:
Turkey
Mashed potatoes & gravy
Celery stuffed w/ cheese
Yams w/ sucanat sugar, butter and spices
Snack:
Berry pie
Carrot & celery sticks
I loved the berry pie. It was delicious. My mom and dad tried it also and really liked it. I did not over eat today and that was good. I felt plenty full. It was a great to spend the day with loved ones and eating good food.
