No exercise today. Decided to take a couple days off.
Breakfast:
Green smoothie
Oatbran muffin
Snack:
Handful Pistachios
Energy nugget (from Good Earth)
Dried kale chips
Dinner:
Turkey
Mashed potatoes w/ a little gravy
Steamed carrots
2 bites of a supposedly wheat roll
Lettuce salad w/ oil & vinegar dressing
We got busy today putting up outside Christmas lights and decorations and forgot to eat lunch. When we realized what time it was and that we had a catered Thanksgiving dinner to attend at Dennis' BYU ward we decided not to eat lunch and just wait for dinner. I did have a snack so I wouldn't be so terribly hungry. I decided to try oil and vinegar dressing on my salad tonight as it is healthier and I realized after the first bite why I don't ever get it. It is awful tasting. I ate the salad because I knew it was healthy, but the taste was not pleasant at all. Thank goodness for the other good food to wash it down. I also got a wheat roll and took 3 bites of it, but that was all I could stand. I'm pretty sure it wasn't whole wheat and most likely made with white flour and a little bit of wheat. It was quite tasteless. They had pumpkin and apple pie for dessert. I took some aloha cake from home in a little dish to eat for my dessert. I still can't get Dennis to even take a taste of it. DeAnna, the other counselors wife tried some and said it tasted like moist applesauce cake. I didn't even feel tempted by the pies.
