Walked/Ran 1.89 miles in 28.05 minutes. Burned 173 calories. I have cut off 2.25 minutes since starting in Oct.and increased my speed from 3.5 mph to 4.0 mph. So far I feel good and the only pain I really have is the IT band on my right knee, but it is not bad enough to keep me from running. I have worked up to 3/4 of a block on each lap. I have a ways to go to run a whole 5k. Good thing I have at least 6 months to get ready.

Chicken salad Pita sandwich

Dinner:
Baked chicken breast
Wild rice w/ onions and red peppers

1/2 sweet potato w/ butter, cinnamon and nutmeg
