Day 173 - Saturday, Feb 28

Today is the last day of February. That means tomorrow I will weigh myself. I feel like I have lost more weight, but if the scales don't say so, I won't be upset. From this point on, I want to loose at slower pace, so hopefully, my sagging skin can have time to catch up. I know that as we age, our skin looses elasticity, and since I have abused my body for the last 30 years by doing the yo-yo diet thing, I WILL have saggy (and wrinkled) skin. I already notice it now, and can't even imagine how bad it will look after loosing another 40-50 lbs. So slow is what I want from here on out.

We did not end up going snow shoeing today, because my BIL was still sick. I still have my cold, but I can still manage, he has the flu, and I know from my experience last Sunday, that that is miserable. Instead we pruned our fruit trees (we massacred our apple tree - there were several dead branches and lots of suckers from not pruning last year, so we butchered it). We also got fence hardware from Home Depot to finish the fence that is going around the new RV pad we poured last fall. We also took up the tack strip in the small bedroom we are remodeling, and cleaned the closet out in that same room - which meant several trips downstairs.

Cellercised for 20 minutes

Breakfast:
Green smoothie
Carrol, squash, applesauce, oatbran muffin

Lunch:
Lettuce salad
Tortilla chips w/ homemade guacamole
Dennis asked me what was for lunch today, and I said LETTUCE SALAD!!! He said OOHHH:(. I told him breakfast and lunch were easy meals - Green smoothies and lettuce salad, then you never have to worry about what to eat. He makes it too hard.

Snack:
1 nectarine

Dinner:
Chicken soup
Wheat crackers
2 oranges

I went to Dennis' Saturday night session of stake conference. I coughed the whole way through. I felt bad for the people that were sitting around us. I felt more miserable as the night wore on, even though the speakers were very good, I just wanted to come home and rest.
