Day 163 - Wednesday, Feb 18

Cellercised for 25 minutes. I could be done in about 18, but I want to finish watching a whole home improvement show (minus the commercials- thanks to Tivo). I had to put another notch in my belt today. That is always a great thing.

Breakfast:
Green smoothie (leftover from the freezer)
Carrot, squash, applesauce, oatbran muffin

Snack:
Mixed nuts
1 orange

Lunch:
Lettuce salad
Salsa Fresca rice crackers (from Costco)

Snack:
Nectarine
2 slices whole wheat banana nut bread

Dinner:
Veggie burger (this was actually quite good, I was pleasantly surprised)
Steamed broccoli
Cucumber slices
1/2 sweet potato

I have been feeling really good lately, not to say that I have been feeling poorly at all, because I haven't. I just feel real good. I do get quite tired by 7L30 - 8:00 at night, but that is pretty standard for me. I am pretty sure it has a lot to do with getting up at 5:00 am. My ideal would be going to bed at 10:30 (after news) and if I use my internal alarm clock (as opposed to the blaring one that jars you out of bed from across the room) I would get up about 6:30 every day. Just for the record, in case anyone is interested, here is a typical morning routine for me:
4:50 - ALARM - get up and potty, wash face (to wake myself up), make bed
5:05 - 5:30 - read scriptures
5:30 - 6:00 - Exercise
6:00 - 6:30 - shower, get dressed
6:30 - 7:00 - fix lunch and snacks for the day, empty dishwasher
7:00 - 7:30 - Eat breakfast while reading Ensign, breakfast dishes
7:30 - 7:50 - Brush teeth, do hair and makeup
7:50 - leave for work

It's amazing how much you can accomplish in the morning when you get up early. I'm definitely a fan of waking up early.
