Exercise: Ab crunches 70, each side 50. Leg raises and bicycle kicks. Doggy leg lifts, and but kicks. Crab walk with exercise band forward and sidewards. Run on mini tramp for 30 minutes alternating with high knees, moderate and fast running.
Breakfast:
Green smoothie
Carrot, squash, applesauce, oatbran muffin
Since I was fasting until the cholesterol test this morning I grabbed a smoothie from the freezer (Dennis almost always makes too much, so we freeze the leftovers) and let it thaw for about 30 minutes in a bowl of hot water (kept replacing the water), then took that and the muffin with me to eat after the appointment while I ran errands. It was a nice change as it still had some of the ice crystals in it and was a different texture than I usually eat in the mornings.
Lunch:
Lettuce salad
Peanut butter and honey sandwich on wheat bread
Snack:
Orange
Dinner:
Steak (lean cut, small piece)
1/3 sweet potato
Steamed cauliflower
I ate the orange pretty close to dinner because I was so hungry, so I wasn't all that hungry for dinner.
I was studying for my online "Family Herbalist" class this afternoon and got so tired reading that I went and took a 3 hour nap. It felt so good, but I also felt like there was a lot I should have done today. Oh well, there is always tomorrow and Saturday.
