Day 155- Tuesday, Feb 10

Boy-oh-Boy where has the time gone. I was in charge of the Young Womens activity tonight. I am the personal progress specialist and am supposed to do two activities a year. I wanted it to be something the girls would enjoy and not dread, so I have been extremely busy the past 3 days finishing up everything I wanted to do. So I had to let some things go, which included blogging. I have eaten healthy, it just won't be recorded, because my brain is now mush and needs a break.

I did the new ab workouts today. Rather than run on the mini tramp, today and yesterday mornings I tried the exercises that I saw on Saturday for the new "cellerciser" I have ordered. Man are they a real workout!!! I only lasted for about 10 minutes and filled in with jogging inbetween. I am really super excited to get this new "cadillac of mini tramps" with all the exercises.

The blood tests came yesterday for my cholesterol.
Feb 09 total Jan 08 total
Cholesterol 243 255
Triglycerides 139 374
LDL 179 142
HDL 36 38

I am very excited to see the triglycerides drop dramatically. The other not so much, but did change some. The doctor says to keep doing what I am doing (diet & exercise) and I don't need to take any drugs.

Breakfast:
Green smoothie
Almond poppyseed oatbran muffin

I had to eat while driving in the car today. I was going to Payson and needed to be there by 8:00 am. I am grateful that smoothies and muffins are conducive to eating on the go.

11:30 am Snack: eaten on the run
Mixed nuts
1/2 Nectarine

NO LUNCH=(

2:30 pm Snack: eaten on the run
1/2 nectarine
1 orange
Nut & berry things I bought at Costco while we were in Texas

Dinner:
Lettuce salad
Tortilla chips and homemade guacamole

Today was such an unusual day for me. My hours at work have been cut back and probably will be cut back even more beings I work for a general contractor and almost nobody is building houses right now. So, Dennis thinks I need to find more work. Alisha got me a job as a substitute for the company she works for stocking magazines in grocery stores. Today was my first subbing job and as with all things, there is a learning curve, and it took me a lot longer than it would have taken Alisha. If I hadn't had to be home and finish things up for the personal progress Young Women activity tonight, I would have taken time out to eat lunch. I was so busy doing the job, that I didn't even have time to think about being hungry which was good.
