Jogged on mini tramp for 30 minutes. Ab and upper body strengthening.
I woke up this morning feeling like a cold is coming on so I headed to my trusty herbal remedies to try and kick this before it gets started. First I took 2 Echinacea capsules and will take 2 more in two hours and 2 more two hours after that. From there I will take 2 capsules 3 times a day for a couple of days. This gives my immune system a boost. I also took a big swallow of "Anti Plaque" formula that I get at the Herb Shoppe here in Orem. It is part of the Christopher line of products. It tastes pretty awful because it is full of garlic, but when I faithfully take it (I usually take a swallow every couple of hours) for a day or so until I feel better. Tonight I will probably sit in a hot bath and drink yarrow tea to help soak out the toxins and germs that bring on a cold. Usually all of this nips it in the bud with just a little bit of effort for two days I save myself several weeks of feeling miserable.
I have been reading a book titled "The Healing Power of Chlorophyll from Plant Life" by Bernard Jensen. It has really helped me to understand how important it is to eat a variety of greens and plenty of them is so beneficial to our bodies. I do believe that it is the green smoothies and lettuce salads I have been eating that makes me feel full and satisfied and not have the cravings that I have had with every other diet that I tried. I highly recommend this book.
