I have been keeping a log of my walking/running since Oct 1st. When I started I went 1.91 miles in 32.34 minutes and burned 172 calories. My average speed has gone from 3.5 to 4.0 and max speed has gone from 4.9 to 8.5. I am still out on whether I like running or not. For now I know that I feel so much better AFTER the run is over and I have so much more energy during the day. I just don't like it DURING the actual workout. But the old adage is certainly true: "NO PAIN - NO GAIN"
Breakfast:

I just love it when Dennis makes pina colada smoothies. Those and blueberry are my favorites.
Lunch:
Lettuce salad w/sprouts
1 slice wheat toast
1 orange
Dinner:
Ham
Baked potato
Carrot sticks & cucumber chips
Dessert - grapes
Tonight was our RS Enrichment dinner. I did not eat the fruit salad (marshmallows and fruit? in a whipped cream (the others said it had a lemony taste), the roll, green bean casserole nor the dessert (a gingerbread cake with a lemon flavor - so they said). I brought the carrots and cucumbers from home. I ate so slowly that I was still eating my dinner during the program, long after the others had finished their dessert, so I ate my dessert, the grapes at home. It was a good evening, good food, good program and good company.
