"I can't believe it" Every time I hear that phrase now I think of Little Einsteins. I can't believe it has been 100 days since I started my healthy eating program. For the most part it has not been hard at all until the past two days I have had a few random thoughts that I don't like, such as:
oh, that cookie I am baking looks so good, one little cookie won't hurt me. I don't know where the thoughts are coming from and I don't like them at all. I will definitely have to keep my thoughts in check. I have been really enjoying the fresh cherries, and tomorrow for my birthday I plan on eating some watermelon while everyone else eats birthday cake (that Amanda so kindly offered to bake for me). Only two more weeks to go and the holidays will be over with and all the tempting food should be gone.
Running/jogging on the mini tramp. I figured I needed to up my workout if I am going to be in shape to run a 5k next summer and not loose what little running I had built up to so far, so I am running in place on the mini tramp. I start out with a jog, then work up to a full out run (running in place of course)and the last minute I lift my knees really high and sprint like I am at the end of a race and passing up tons of people. I work up a good sweat, Dennis should be proud of me.
50 crunches and 50 crunches on each side (got to work on those love handles).
9 pushups (maybe next week I will make it to 10)
Tricep, Bicep, and shoulder strengthening
Breakfast:
Green smoothies (mine never taste as good as Dennis')
2 slices of bran toast
Snack:
Cherries
Lunch:
Carrot sticks
Cucumber slices
Flax seed granola bar
Orange
Wheat crackers
I at on the run for lunch today. I knew I probably would, so I was prepared. The key to eating healthy is being prepared.
Snack:
Cherries
Mixed nuts
Dinner:
Leftovers (I am not in the mood to cook tonight and our fridge is bulging with them)
Dennis won't be too happy about that though.
