Day 6

Weekends are supposed to be fun. A time to get away from the daily routine, work, etc. So why was today not fun? This is how it went. Woke up hurting like the dickens from yesterdays utterly clumsy fall. Take a walk with my walking buddy, it only hurt to breathe and I didn't do crunches because it is very painful to move up, down or around. I felt good after walking, except for the breathing pain, so I made breakfast and drank it while sitting on the couch icing my sore body. I still felt pretty decent, so I decided it was time to clean out the fridge because there was lots of old yucky stuff in there making it impossible to find room for the fresh fruit my parents gave me yesterday. Then I still felt ok, so I started to peel the peaches to freeze (for future smoothies and such). After 40 minutes of standing at the sink I was a wreck. My back and chest ached so bad, and my left arm from the elbow to the shoulder wasn't feeling much better. So I only got 1/3 of the peaches done, cleaned up and laid down on the couch with ice again and promptly fell asleep.....for 2 1/2 hours. I was feeling a bit better after that. The ache in my back and arm was pretty much gone. I just lounged around the house for the rest of the day, and went for a ride with Dennis to BYU to do some church stuff. What I wanted to do today was go help my sister and brother in law work on their cabin and get some good mountain air. That will have to wait for another time.

You're still doing so great! My abs haven't hurt at all but I usually do about 100 to 150 crunches - about 4-5 times a day/or night. That's about the only exercise my body is used to because I've done those more consistent than anything else.
