Today was going so good and then the bomb fell. Or rather I fell. Tripped, going up the same step I have for 4 years at work and fell flat on my face and jammed my fist into my chest and bruised or cracked some ribs. At least I think that is all I did. It is what hurts the most. So doing much of anything but having my hands directly in front of me and close to my body is pretty much out. Even breathing hurts like crazy. So what to have for dinner is weighing heavy on my mind. I think I will have to have Dennis take over the cooking for a few days and I am not sure what he will do. He doesn't even know yet that he will be on cooking duty. Thank goodness I had made my lunch before all this so that was healthy. We walked today, but I must have hit the stop button on the GPS instead of the lap button, because it says we only went 15.09 minutes and we really went about 30 or so. Dennis thinks my abs should be sore from doing crunches and it is not, so I'm not sure what is up with that. Maybe doing them wrong? Oh well, I'm trying. 3 sets of 10. Kellie how do your abs feel?
Breakfast:
Green smoothie
Oatbran muffin

Lunch:
Lettuce salad
wheat toast with peanut butter (crunchy of course)
2 honeydew slices
I actually didn't eat the avocado in the picture. I forgot the salt shaker and hurt to bad to get up and get it.

Dinner:
2 corn tacos with shredded chicken from Costa Vida
Dennis said he would take me anywhere I wanted to go and I thought Costa Vida sounded good. Then when we got there I remembered that I couldn't have the sweet pork nor the white flour tortilla (which was part of my favorite - sweet pork burrito). So I decided I would try the chicken corn tacos. I won't order that again. Not good at all. But what do you do when you can't cook? Oh, and the extra capsules are herbs I am now taking to help my ribs heal.
I hope I don't hurt too bad to get out of bed and go walking in the morning.
