Taco salad
Fresh strawberries sweetened with Agave
I didn't feel like a lettuce salad today, but I knew that I needed to eat one, so I decided it was time to change it up, and I felt like eating red beans, so I came up with my own version of taco salad. I first placed the lettuce salad from the big bowl I made up yesterday, added some rinsed canned red beans, salsa, ranch dressing and a little bit of sour cream, topped with tortilla chips. It was delicious. The strawberries tasted just like they had sugar on them, so sweet and yummy. It almost feels criminal to loose weight and eat such good food.
Snack:
1 pineapple spear while cooking dinner
Dinner:
Wild rice
Steamed broccoli
1 corn on the cob (tough, not all that great)
1 small mango
Handful of mixed nuts
My wedding ring is now officially loose enough that I am afraid of it falling off my finger.That is a good sign that the weight is steadily coming off. I know that I am always commenting on the weight loss and that is because it is the most noticeable difference in this healthy lifestyle, but it is not the most important. I changed my eating habits to feel better physically and mentally. I have noticed (when I am not sick) that I have so much more energy and I feel great. I feel satisfied and rarely feel hungry. I also rarely have cravings either. I really love the changes that are happening to me. It would be heavenly if I could figure out what causes me to have near constant ringing in my ears and why I get dizzy when I turn my head in the wrong position (usually backward). Hopefully, they will get better with time.
