Cellercised for 15 minutes. I did a complete workout today, but did not jump for the extra 10 minutes as I was wasted.
Breakfast:
Green smoothie
Carrot oatbran muffin
Lunch:
Lettuce salad
1 slice whole wheat toast
Snack:
Mixed nuts
1 orange
1 nectarine
Dinner:
Chicken Salad sandwiches on white rolls
veggie sticks
grapes, blueberries & 1/2 strawberry
Snack:
Blueberries & granola in yogurt
I went to our RS Enrichment dinner tonight. It was themed around Alice in Wonderland. The light supper was good, but I was limited on what I could eat. They had a table of all kinds of bread and jams, and all I took was two small pieces of wheat bread (the jams all looked delicious, but I refrained). We were supposed to take tea cups and they had lemonade to go along with the bread and jam, but I also refrained from the lemonade (it didn't use to faze me drinking a sweet drink with something sweet like jam, but now I think that sounds really gross - too much sweet together). I was hungry and so when the plate of food came, I took of the top part of the roll and just ate the filling with the bottom half. It would be wonderful (and I for one need to be more conscientious of this) if at church and other socials if people planned for those who don't care for white bread and had an alternative. I don't want to become like a family I know that doesn't go to any function where there is food because they are vegans. I used to think that they were weird. Now I totally understand how they feel. I would miss the socializing, but definitely not the food. When they started serving dessert, I left and came home to a yummy bowl of blueberries and yogurt.
I slept in this morning as I had a rough night. I kept having coughing spells and would have to drink water, then take a cough drop and fall back asleep until the next attack. It felt good to sleep in.
