Day 234 - Saturday, May 2

I got to sleep in again this morning. I love 9 hours of sleep.

Cellercised for 20 minutes

Pre breakfast:
Fresh squeezed orange juice

Breakfast:
Leftover frozen (thawed) green smoothie
wheat toast

Lunch:
Taco salad
1/2 sliced cucumbers
1 fresh pineapple spear

Dinner:
Cafe Rio Salad YUM!YUM!
I ate the whole thing and shouldn't have. It just seems such a waste to eat half and throw the other half away (lettuce just doesn't keep overnight when it has stuff on it).

Since yesterday was the 1st day of a new month, I got on the scales. I lost 2 pounds in April. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, and while part of me wishes I could loose all of the weight quickly, the rational side knows that would not be wise. Slow and steady is how it is done, and remember my goal is not to necessarily loose weight, but to get healthy and feel good about myself. Loosing weight is a very nice benefit. Even though I haven't felt 100% the last few months, and I have had a hard time the past 2 weeks, I know I am doing the right thing. Along with everything good, some bad seems to have to be present also. On a brighter note: I bought new garments yesterday. I have gone from a size 38 to a size 32. AWESOME!!! (Just a little patting myself on the back there). That is way exciting. I am going shopping with my daughters next week to the outlet stores in Park City in hopes of finding some incredible deals on new clothes.
