Satureday, June 6

Today is the day of the first 5k of the season. It is becoming a tradition for our family to all go to this race. Alisha, Randy and their 2 boys, Amanda, Steve and their 3, Dennis and I, and we will have Malinda's 2 girls as they are going to a wedding at the Salt Lake Temple. We will have so much fun, as long as it doesn't rain.

I just got back from the race. It was AWESOME!!! I finished in 44:14. It was not bad pushing the triple jogger except for the fact that it drifts to the right and I was constantly (and I mean constantly) jerking it back to the left to stay on a straight course and not run into other people. I imagine it is like driving a tank down a city block, it is so much bigger than all other stroller/joggers. But pushing it was not too hard at all.

Breakfast:I took a frozen green smoothie and muffin in a small cooler and after the race during the prize drawings ate the frozen smoothie. Good and icy cold.

Lunch:
Tortilla chips and mango salsa
Cherries

Dinner:
Baked potato
Steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots

Snack:
Blueberries and granola in yogurt
