I am almost done with week 3 of the cleanse. I have been so tired these past two weeks and until today couldn't figure out why. Then it hit me, DUH! When you cleanse your body, you get weaker and tired as the body goes through it's internal house cleaning. I also woke up this morning with what felt like bladder infection again. Yesterday was my first "real" day as a service missionary at the BYU Family History Library and I sat most of the day at the computer. I tried to drink plenty of water during the 9 hours, but I forget to when it is not sitting in front of me, and we are not allowed to have liquids on the computer desks. Between the sitting, drinking less water, and crossing my legs all day, and the cleanse, I developed something and it was very uncomfortable this morning. As soon as I sent Dennis off to work, I put a cotton cloth soaked in castor oil over my lower abdomen, covering it with plastic and wrapped an ace bandage all around my middle to secure it all in place. Then I laid down on the couch and alternately placed hot and cold packs for an hour and just rested. It felt so good to relax, and the heat on my abdomen felt so wonderful. When I was done, the pain was gone and I could finally urinate. No doctors visit, co-pay or prescription fees, plus the lost time waiting for the doctor and the prescriptions. Just a little work, and a nice rest.
There is still this nagging January/February syndrome that I have suffered through every year since we have moved into this house. The dizziness, stressed out, blurry eyes, sore neck, and loss of concentration-memory. It started the first year we moved here and comes back every January. I have no idea why. I just wish I knew what caused it so I could find out what to do to fix it.
