Teaching Opportunity

Alisha has asked me to teach a class on Healthy eating as one of those mini Enrichment classes in her ward. At first I was honored that she would ask me, but now the terror is setting in. I love to learn, and I love to share with others, but usually in a one on one setting. But, I have felt for a few months now, that the Lord has blessed me with so much knowledge and information about how to eat healthy and KEEP our bodies healthy, that now He wants me to share that with others.

I have always admired those who are such eloquent speakers. They can be humorous and inspiring, and have a way with words. I on the other hand am not humorous, and do not have a way with words. The only thing I have on my side is the promise from the scriptures (and in my patriarchal blessing) that the Lord will bless me and give me words for the occasion. I feel like the Prophet in the scriptures (I forget which one at the moment) that said he was slow of speech, but was willing to do as the Lord commanded. My spirit is willing, but the flesh is very weak. I definitely need to exercise faith in this area of my life. But I do believe that with the help of the Lord, all things are possible.....even little ole me with my brain/memory deficiency.
